This Privacy Policy describes how Atlas Software LLC ("BookSync," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use BookSync at booksync.ai, including its Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and QuickBooks Online integrations (together, the "Service").
Information you or your organization provide:
Information collected automatically: log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps), device information, and cookies needed to keep you signed in.
If you sign in with a Microsoft work or school account, or use BookSync from Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot, we receive the following from Microsoft Entra ID with your consent:
openid, profile, email and Microsoft Graph User.Read)When you ask Microsoft 365 Copilot to perform a BookSync action (for example, record time, create an expense, or list pending approvals), Copilot sends us only the details needed for that action, and we return only data your BookSync role allows you to see. We do not receive your Copilot chat history, emails, files, calendar, or other Microsoft 365 content. Your prompts to Copilot are processed by Microsoft under Microsoft's own terms and privacy statement.
We use Microsoft data only to sign you in, link you to your BookSync workspace, and perform the actions you request. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in Section 5.
When an authorized user connects a QuickBooks Online company, we receive access tokens and read lists needed to post records correctly, such as accounts, vendors, customers, payment methods, classes, and existing transaction numbers. We use this data only to map and send the expenses and invoices you approve. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time in BookSync or in QuickBooks; we then stop accessing your QuickBooks company and delete the stored tokens.
We do not use your data to train machine-learning models, and suggestions are based only on your own organization's data.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
Data is stored on servers in the United States. We keep your data while your account is active. If your organization cancels, we delete or anonymize its data within 90 days, unless we must keep it for legal reasons. Records already sent to QuickBooks remain in your QuickBooks company and are controlled by you and Intuit.
We use encryption in transit (TLS), encryption of integration tokens at rest, role-based access controls, and separation of each organization's data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify affected customers without undue delay.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of marketing messages. You can also revoke BookSync's access at any time: disconnect QuickBooks in BookSync settings, and remove BookSync from your Microsoft account at myapps.microsoft.com or ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to remove it. To make a request, email [email protected].
We use cookies and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and operate the Service. Disabling them in your browser may prevent sign-in.
The Service is a business product and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in the Service. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version.
